February 16, 2019 Belhaven Women Pull Off Upset Clarksville, Ark.-On a day where neither team was able to find much success shooting the ball, the visiting Belhaven Univerrsity Blazers hit just enough shots to secure a 68-63 win over the Eagles. Despite the loss, the Eagles have qualified for the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament under first-year head coach Kourtni Williams.  The Eagles are the No. 3 seed out of the East Division and will play Hardin-Simmons University in Belton, Texas, February 21. The Eagles had a strong showing in the first quarter and even pulled out to a 17-10 lead. The Blazers returned the favor with a strong showing of their own in the second quarter, that was good enough to pull ahead, 30-29 at the half. The emotion of Senior Day took over, and seniors Hailey Ostrander, Savannah Kate Smith, and Diamond Goodwyn combined to account for 20 points at the break. Belhaven guards Aaliyaha Thornton and Brittany Ford sparked a late, third quarter charge, which gave the visitors a ten-point advantage heading into the final frame. Smith and Ostrander led a valiant comeback for the Eagles, but the lead proved to be too much to overcome, as the home squad fell by five points. Aaliyaha Thornton and Brittany Ford paced Belahaven with 16 points a piece. Smith paved the way for Ozarks with 22 points and four rebounds. 
February 16, 2019 Williams Guides Women's Basketball Team To Playoffs In First Season Clarksville, Ark.-Under first-year head coach Kourtni Williams, the University of the Ozarks women's basketball team has qualified for the American Southwest Championship Tournament and will face Hardin-Simmons University February 21 at 12:00 p.m. in Belton, Texas, in the quarterfinals.
February 14, 2019 Eagles Secure No. 3 Seed In Playoffs With Win Clarksville, Ark.-Under first-year head coach Kourtni Williams, the Eagles have qualified for the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament. With a 83-72 win over Louisiana College, the Eagles have secured the No. 3 seed out of the East Division. Louisiana College did make things interesting by hanging around late in the second half, cutting it to 74-72 with two minutes left, but the Eagles didn't let the Wildcats score again. The Eagles held a 40-32 halftime advantage, but the Wildcats grabbed the lead back in the third quarter. Eventually, the Eagles went into the fourth quarter with a 60-56 advantage. After Louisiana College pulled within two points late in the final quarter, the Eagles clamped down on defense for the win. Throughout the game Hailey Ostrander seemed to hit big shots and finished with 22 points. Delanei Stephens followed with 16 points and missed just two shots from the field. Savannah Kate Smith had 14 points, while Kelsey Dixson scored 10 points and had eight rebounds.
February 7, 2019 No. 19 Texas Dallas Claims Win Over Women's Basketball Team Richardson, Texas-No. 19 Texas Dallas held the Eagles scoreless from the three-point line in the game and limited them to four points in the second quarter en route to a 55-34 win Thursday. Texas Dallas led just 11-9 after the first quarter, but exploded for 20 points in the second quarter to take over the game. Neither team shot well in the contest. Texas Dallas hit 29 percent from the field and the Eagles made 25 percent. The Eagles went 0-for-16 from long-range, while Texas Dallas hit 3-of-18. Delanei Stephens paced the Eagles with 11 points.
February 2, 2019 Eagles Score Second Win Over LeTourneau Longview, Texas-The Eagles produced another outstanding defensive effort holding LeTourneau to shoot 25 percent from the field in a 54-40 win Saturday in conference play. The Eagles also defeated LeTourneau last month in Clarksville. he Eagles limited LeTourneau to six points in the first quarter and held a 28-15 lead at intermission. Hailey Ostrander hit three three-pointers and scored 13 points in the win. The Eagles hit 86 percent from the free throw line.
January 31, 2019 Eagles Fall On The Road Against Nationally-Ranked ETBU Marshall, Texas-The nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University Tigers (No. 15) cruised past the Eagles 80-56 Thursday night in American Southwest Conference action. The Tigers had a strong first and fourth quarter to earn the win. The Tigers held a 28-15 lead after the first quarter. The Eagles played within striking distance in the second quarter, but never took the lead. The Eagles fought back and pulled within 49-37 in the third quarter on a Savannah Kate Smith shot, but the Tigers outscored the Eagles 26-16 in the final quarter. Diamond Goodwyn led the Eagles with 13 points. The Eagles hit just two shots from the three-point line, while East Texas Baptist made ten.
