The Eagles had trouble keeping up with the hard-nose defense and quick-striking offense of Texas Dallas as the Comets cruised to a 89-42 American Southwest Conference win Saturday. The Comets limited the Eagles to 13 first half points, while scoring 44 of their own. For the game, the Comets hit 53 percent from the field and held the Eagles to 26 percent. Delanei Stephens had 13 points to lead the Eagles.
