Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O women's basketball team overcame a 46-45 third quarter deficit and outscored Dallas Christian 22-12 in the fourth quarter to take a 67-58 win Monday in non-conference play.
Ozarks (7-8) went on a 11-0 run to open the fourth quarter, fueled by three consecutive three-pointers to lead 56-46 with 6:52 remaining in the game. Ashley Hipps drilled a shot from long-range and Bryanna Moltz followed with another. Hipps then hit her fourth three-pointer to make it a ten-point game. Hipps exploded for 11 points in the fourth quarter alone. Macie Kultgen had a big first half with 10 points to put Ozarks in front 32-26 at halftime.
Hipps finished with 17 points, while Kultgen added 14. Moltz posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Ozarks will host Rust College January 26.
