Mary Hardin-Baylor shot 52 percent from the field in the second half to keep the Eagles from a possible comeback and secure a 107-72 conference win. The Eagles trailed 42-33 at the half, but fell behind 57-38 within the first five minutes of the second half. From that point, the Crusaders never let the Eagles back into the game. The Eagles hit 34 percent in the game, while Mary Hardin-Baylor hit 48 percent. The Eagles hit 11 three-pointers in the game, but committed 23 turnovers. Cory Wilhelm led the team with 13 points.
The Crusaders outscored the Eagles 65-39 in the second half to hold off any possible comeback. The Eagles committed 23 turnovers.
The Eagles will take on Concordia University Texas December 17.
