Webster University pulled away from the Eagles in the second half for a 71-61 win in the Webster University Classic. After cutting the deficit to seven points with less than five minutes to play, the Eagles couldn't take the lead as Webster had a clutch dunk and then made four free throws with under one minute to play to hold off Ozarks. The Eagles shot an uncharacteristic 1-of-21 (4.8%) from the three-point line in the game, but Webster went 0-for-11 from long range. Webster made 45 percent from the field in the game and the Eagles made 35 percent. Only Bryson Johnson reached double figures in scoring with 12.
