At the 4:42 mark of the second quarter, Victoria Pena made the first three point shot of the evening, which sparked an 8-0 run by the visitors. Texas Dallas took off from there and went on to hold a 39-23 advantage at the half. Despite shooting 45 percent from the field and going a perfect 10-for-10 from the line, the Eagles still trailed 62-43 after three quarters of play. The Comets outscored Ozarks 19-8 down the stretch to secure the victory. Freshman forward Cassie Emerson finished with 18 points for the Eagles, and senior guard Anisha Johnson added 7 points, 5 assists, and 8 rebounds.
