Abilene, Texas-The Eagles outscored Hardin-Simmons 11-6 in overtime to fuel a 68-63 win while collecting their first conference victory Monday night. Hardin-Simmons would miss a free throw with nine seconds left in regulation to give the Eagles the last possession. With the score tied 57-57, a three-pointer with two seconds left missed to force overtime. Hailey Ostrander scored first in overtime, a three-point basket, to jumpstart the Eagles' offense. From there, the Eagles never let go of the lead. Ozarks held a 29-26 halftime lead. The Eagles hit 41 percent from the field, while Hardin-Simmons made just 29 percent in the game. Diamond Goodwyn powered her way to 19 points and 11 rebounds in the game. Savannah Kate Smith poured in 17 points and dished out six assists. Destinee Manning blocked five shots.
