Austin, Texas-Concordia University Texas denied Ozarks on the road as it earned a 70-58 win in American Southwest Conference play Monday night.
The Eagles (9-10, 2-9 ASC) held a pair of leads in the first quarter, but couldn't sustain it as Concordia (11-10, 3-8 ASC) built a 35-25 halftime advantage. Concordia then opened the second half with a 42-27 lead. Ozarks did climb back into the game in the fourth quarter, trimming the deficit to 51-41. But Concordia established a 20-point advantage with 4:09 left in the game.
Bryanna Moltz scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Ozarks will host East Texas Baptist University February 11.
