Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O women's basketball team couldn't recover from 19 first half turnovers and lost 88-62 against nationally-ranked Texas-Tyler Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
No. 9 Texas-Tyler (6-1, 3-1 ASC) jumped out to a 9-0 lead early in the game and then really never let the Lady Eagles (5-4, 2-3 ASC) back into the contest. Texas-Tyler led 45-28 at the half.
Madison Sherrer had 14 points to lead Ozarks. Ashley Hipps scored 13 points, while Bryanna Moltz and Jordana Andrews scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Ozarks will travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau University December 19.
