Ozarks (2-2, 0-1 ASC) hung with the Lady Patriots (4-0, 1-0 ASC) in the first half until the eight-minute mark. The Lady Eagles trailed 28-19 before Texas-Tyler hit back-to-back three-pointers to jumpstart a run that resulted in a near 20-point intermission lead. Texas-Tyler had 26 rebounds and held Ozarks to six field goals in the first half. In the second half, Ozarks hit an impressive 14-of-25 field goal shots and 9-of-11 from the free throw line, but dug itself into too big of a hole to make a comeback.
Ozarks will host Crowley's Ridge December 1 and Texas-Dallas December 4.
