Longview, Texas- Thomas Mills came up big with both goals to lead the Eagles past LeTourneau University 2-1 in overtime in a Friday night American Southwest Conference men's soccer match.
LeTourneau (4-4-2, 1-2-0 ASC) took a 1-0 lead in the first half and held the advantage until Mills evened the score in the 66th minute. Mills received the ball from Stewart Mena. The match eventually went into overtime, but Mills provided the heroics with the game-winner in the 99th minute to secure the win. Ersi Vukatana crossed the ball to Mills who finished it with a shot to the right corner.
Ozarks (7-1-2, 1-1-1 ASC) took 17 shots in the match, while LeTourneau recorded 23. Ozarks' goalkeeper Luis Mena was big in overtime posting four saves.
Ozarks will face East Texas Baptist University October 1 in Marshall, Texas.
