Sensational shooting by both teams highlighted the high-scoring affair. Ozarks (6-10, 1-9 ASC) hit 38-of-61 (62%) from the floor, while Louisiana College (4-10, 1-7 ASC) made 34-of-59 (57%). The two teams combined to hit 27 three-pointers. The Wildcats nailed 12-of-23 (52%) and the Eagles canned 15-of-28 (53%). Louisiana College held a 55-50 halftime lead and would build a 97-87 advantage with 2:32 remaining in the game. But Ozarks closed it to three points with 30 seconds left on Jerome Luster's shot from long-range. The Eagles would have a possession with less than 20 seconds remaining, but turned the ball over. The Wildcats then hit six free throws down the stretch.
