Game Three: Millikin University 16, University of the Ozarks 5
University of the Ozarks (4-3)
Millikin University (3-0)
The Eagles had trouble slowing down the Millikin offense as it allowed double digit runs for the second straight game. Millikin pounded out 20 hits against seven Ozarks' pitchers in a 16-5 victory to complete a three-game weekend sweep. Millikin plated four runs in the first inning, but Ozarks showed some fight in the bottom half of the frame and scored three. Chase Edwards and Patrick Mixon both had RBI. Millikin came right back in the top of the second and got those runs back by scoring four. In the third, Josh Woolly homered to bring the score to 8-4. Millikin would put the game away behind a six-run fifth inning. Mixon had a multiple-hit game going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
